We can suffer from acne during our teens or even when we are an adult. It is something that we will all go through in some part of our life. Here are some tips that you can use to prevent more breakouts.

1.Do not touch your face with your hand.

Whenever we have acne one our face, we tend to touch them with our hand frequently. To prevent bacteria and germs from your hand to spread to your face, avoid touching your face with your hand.

2.Do not squeeze the pimples.

Most of us squeeze our pimples because it can be rather unsightly. However, squeezing the pimple may cause the bacteria to spread deeper into the skin which will prolong the healing time. Squeezing the pimple will also increase the chances of scarring.

3.Keep an eye on your stress level

Research had shown that whenever students are stressful due to their exams, a chemical named CRH is released and it cause more oil to be produced on our skin. Whenever your face is oily, the likelihood of having a breakout increases. So keep an eye on your stress level and meditation and exercising always help to reduce your stress level.

4.Be well hydrated

Ensuring our body is well hydrated will ensure that our body is able to cleanse itself. Acne on our skin is due to toxins not being cleared away by our body.

5.Do not use scented skin products

Scented products may irritate our skin and cause acne to worsen. Look for products that are not scented, non-comodogenic and non-alcohol based.

6.Wash your face gently

Wash your face gently and do not scrub it with abrasive pads. Abrasive pads help to remove dead skin from our skin surface but it tends to injure tissues that are already affected with acne.
